Just
Because
You
Failed To Make Money With A Legitimate Internet Based Home Business
Doesn't
Mean You've Been Scammed

If
you’ve been actively marketing a legitimate
internet based home business for any length of time, you will most
likely have
had to deal with an angry affiliate who has lost money and wants to
blame
everybody but themselves. They won’t hesitate to send you,
their sponsor, an
angry email explaining that the program is nothing but a scam.
They may
even
threaten to sue you for misleading
them and taking their hard earned cash. If you are promoting a
legitimate
internet based home business and you get this kind of response, what
should you
do?
Here are
some
tips to help you deal with angry
affiliates of legitimate online business programs.
1. First
off,
don't panic! Understand that you
are dealing with a bully who doesn’t want to take
responsibility for their own
decisions. They consider everyone else to be at fault instead of
accepting
their own failure. They only focus on the negative and the fact that
they lost
money instead of getting rich quick without putting forth any effort on
their
part.
They’re
frustrated and feel the
need to lash out, and you’re the first person they come to.
2.
Secondly,
it’s important that you don’t reply
in the same tone. I know that it can be very tempting, but it
doesn’t solve
anything. By doing so you only lower yourself to their level, making
you no
better than them.
3.
Instead, be
polite and sympathetic in your
response. It’s important to explain that the program is a
legitimate internet
based home business and that people are making money with it. You must
not give
in to their claims that the business is a scam, especially when in fact
it’s
legitimate and you are making money with it.
4. Ask
your
affiliate to give you more
information about what they did to lose their money. Let them know that
they
can ask you for advice at any time before they spend money on
advertising or
other expenses related to the business. Offer to work closely with them
to turn
their failure into success.
5. Ask
if they
would like to talk over the phone
to discuss the matter. If you have Skype, you can talk to them wherever
they
live at local rates, or if they also have Skype, you can both talk for
free.
You may probably find that they have no desire to talk over the phone
with a
successful affiliate of the business. However, if they do accept your
offer,
you will most likely find them to be friendly and willing to listen to
what you
have to say.
6. Keep
their
e-mail address. If, in spite of
your best efforts, the bully persists in sending you an abusive e-mail,
don't
delete them, but keep them in a file. If your bully repeats his threat
to call
a lawyer, thank him for his rude e-mail and let him know that you will
be happy
to use them as evidence of his bad character.
If the
e-mails
continue to arrive, it will come
to a point when you will need to block the sender, and report him to
his email
service provider. You can do that by checking his e-mail address and
going to
the website of the e-mail provider (such as "hotmail.com" or
"gmail.com" etc) and finding the "abuse" (or similar) tab.
7. Don't
forget
that you can turn to your own
sponsor and the managers of the affiliate program for help if the abuse
continues. You can ask for advice and request that the affiliate be
removed
from your downline and prevented from participating in the legitimate
internet
based home business.
Remember,
just
because someone calls an internet
based home business a "scam" doesn’t mean that it really is.
If you
have proved to yourself that you are involved in a legitimate online
business,
then stand up to those bullies who cry "scam" at the first
opportunity.
I
wish you the best of success,
